An event hosted by our Skateboard Demonstrations program

We were invited to Timmy's 8th Birthday Party to put on a Skateboard Demo and Lesson. After an interactive talk about safety and the basics of skateboarding, we put on a demo and even took requests from the eager young crowd to see their favorite tricks from skateboarding video games.

After the action, each of the kids grabbed their skateboard and helmet then were split into groups where each had their own individual lesson of either going down the kicker ramp or a special trick request of their own - learning how to ollie, kickflip, and even grinding for some youngsters.

To conclude the show, we handed out goodie bags to each of the kids, this included a LCSP sticker, brochure, and a recycled skateboard keychain. The birthday boy got a "I'm LOCO for the Skate Project" T-Shirt as a birthday gift from LCSP.
