An event hosted by our Skateboard Demonstrations program

The SACC program at Cub Run Elementary School invited us to host a skateboard demonstration for a group of their students. We began with an interactive talk about safety and the basics of skateboarding, then put on a demonstration on their blacktop. All of the kids were excited to ask each of the skaters a request to do a trick, they even got us to race them across the blacktop while we skated and they ran, it was a close call. After the demonstration, we handed out goodie bags with a LCSP sticker, brochure, and a recycled skateboard keychain. Each of them got the skaters signatures, with crayons or magic markers, which ended their day with a little more inspiration.
