Link: DC Skatepark Project

Description: Their goal is to open a 10,000 square foot, indoor, metro-accessible Skatepark in the District of Columbia. Support them by following their blog.

Link: Purcellville Skate Project

Description: The Purcellville Skate Project is looking for an appropriate site to build the skate plaza within the town of Purcellville. There is currently one site under consideration, but all additional offers will be considered. They are currently working with a skate plaza designer to bring the committee's research to life with concept drawings and site renderings.

Description: This is the newest skatepark addition to the Northern Virginia area. The skatepark opened in June of 2010. Visit their website for information on how they got it done.
