An event to benefit Sterling's skatepark project

LOCO Skate Project hosted a car wash fundraiser on May 30th from 11am to 3pm at Potomac Falls Express Lube in Sterling.

It was a free car wash with donations accepted that benefitted our efforts to bring a safe and legal skatepark to Sterling. Local skaters volunteered during the whole event and ended up racking in just under $300 for the skatepark.

A skateboard that was donated by Convoy Skateboards and three "The Thriller" DVDs were given out for our volunteer raffle. Thanks to all who helped make this a success!
